Towers

Medium: Steel with Neon (Ali Baba), Motorized Sphere (Kinetic), and “Jacobs ladder” (Praha)
Dimensions: 36″ X 180″ X 36″ (each tower)

The tower series is inspired by architecture in eastern and central Europe. Each tower is a unique piece that incorporates electricity and provides it’s own character. The Ali Baba tower has a central neon light that extends to the full length of the tower. The Kinetic tower has a motorized sphere made of a lattice of steel straps that rotates. The body has a door and window that are back-lit with green and red lights. The Praha tower has a high voltage traveling arc of electricity or “Jacobs ladder” that travels upwards from the base to the top of the tower. Each tower stands 15 feet tall.
